Or that is has managed to garner two thumbs up.

First one, 'no.' For obvious reasons. Others have explained it better than I can.
Second one; It could be considered a possibility so I'll give that a 'maybe'.
Of course, all the bumper stickers (a fascinating behaviour, fastening pieces of metal containing short verses with one's philosophy on the bumpers of cars, that seems to be mostly a north American phenomenon. I've never seen any in Britain nor in Australia) do nothing but show off a confirmation of what you already believe.
Nothing wrong with that, but a bit of proof and not just superposition and statements of belief that the Bible is true might go down well with some of us.
All the best.

As far as I know, this is your first time here. Some of us have been coming here for years. We know exactly what his technique is. It's changed a bit. The enthusiastic smiling young evangelist who can prove the God of the Bible is true without reference to Scripture has disappeared to be replaced by the wise elder statement fielding questions from young Christians, Preaching to the choir.
He has done this because his soul saving technique does not work,
Trust someone who has been aware of him and Living Waters for many years.
Ask him about his souls. How many people has he personally turned to Christ, not turned from one type of Christianity to another but from unbelief to belief using his methods? I can guarantee that number is nil.
We have been putting out requests, longer than I have been coming here, for people to coming forward saying they have found Christ through his techniques for many years. No one has.
His in box is supposed to be lined with e-mails giving testimonies of how his films have brought them around but no one has come forward to this blog to give their testimony 'I was once lost and was now saved due to Ray Comfort and Living Waters'.
While you're at it, ask him why his favourite parable is the Parable of the Sower.
Then put the two together.
All the best to you.

So you have changed your opinion and are willing to really dialogue are you?
Has 'your all just big jerks' opinion been washed away by a rush of heart-sorrow for the unsaved, or has it been tucked away until it is needed again, robert?

If so, you are not making Ray Comfort's message any easier. Some of us do have honest questions. Truly. But you describing anything anyone who doesn't agree with your interpretation as not amenable to grown up conversation is just making trouble for trouble's sake.
Please stop it. There have been some real enthusiastic believers turned up on this post. Offers have been made and taken up on to converse. Maybe using their techniques they might even convince some of us of the truth of Christian belief. But if they read your cynical, bitter words, they might just turn away sickened by what is happening.

I bet you bring more people to the Cross with your simple living the message of Christ than Ray Comfort with all his talk and slick presentations ever will.
It's Christians like you who make me wonder why I am such a cynical, ageing materialist.
Don't stick around here. You will hear some cruel things from those who profess to follow your Saviour. Falsehoods. Hate.
They might even believe they are doing their god (not God, the one you obviously follow) a service by claiming because you don't buy stuff from Living Waters and stand on a box and shout at people you faith is not really. Don't let them do this. They are not Christians. They are Comfortians or Raytheists as some of us have named them.
You are doing a beautiful thing. Go out into the world and carry on as you are, my dear.
All the best to you.

I have no problem with anything you wrote apart from the idea that this God who make the hydraulics and mechanics of the universe and set it going fitted with laws to keep it so would care what we do.
Your Bible says He did, but come on friend, that isn't proof. It's just your belief.
You also almost always mention how frail and close to death we all are and how we could die any moment.
I think you have realised your own mortality. We had this conversation before, unless it was with someone else, in the old days if Atheist Central. He called himself John. I suggested this and the answer was 'no'. So I'm probably wrong.
I don't know if you actually write your own sermons but they are very good. Powerful, uncompromising, but polite and reasonable.
Keep it up, friend.

Yes! Exactly! For me, it's the way flowers and bees compliment one another that makes it more reasonable to believe there is a Great Mind, a Grand Architect, behind it all.
But as for it being the obviously man made God of Scriptures, no way.
Read your Bible. Tell me that the God found within, who get annoyed when He isn't worshipped the correct way and fusses over the exact dimension of a tent made by one group of one species in one part of one planet in the massive billion of light years in size universe is the same God who made that universe and set it going, a massive perfectly balance clockwork tick ticking under the strict tempo of laws He made.
No way! The God of Scripture is too small and man-like to be the Creator!

That is not the John1 I have grown to have a genuine respect for.
Come on, you're better than that.
Unless it's someone else taking your handle and using it to post their own beliefs. That has happened before today.

Go on then. Prove it. How many nations make their laws according to evolution? Not secular democracy but evolution according to natural selection.
Germany under the Nazis wasn't. Neither was Stalinist Soviet Union. Or Pol Pot's Kampuchea. North Korea under the Kim dynasty don't make laws according to evolution. They just don't.
Let's go further. How many human beings have you personally met or been introduced to who say evolution is where I get my morals
Take your time.
I bet you are thinking 'I'll show her! Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold.'
Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold's massacre being due to their following evolution as a moral philosophy is about as true as their playing video games or listening to Marilyn Manson. Just like the Christian martyrdom of Cassie Bernall. And the still very much alive Valeen Schnurr.
