This is how I'm striving for my home to be perceived as. It's a work in progress. Thanks for the encouragement.

Beautiful. I was able to wear a sari once. Like you, I could never do it again because I have no one here to show me how. I totally think that how we dress affects how we feel.
It is wonderful to think of all that God lavishes on us - I just have to look at my children to know that I am abundantly blessed.

I know my children will love this so I pinned it for the next time we buy hot dogs. Thanks for sharing.

This has been a pet peeve of mine for a long time. We don't have a tv, but sometimes when we're listening to the radio for the news I'll point out to my husband how stupid the men in commercials are made to be. My mom always held my dad up to my sisters and I. I'm trying to do the same with my children and my husband. In our home "father knows best" and we like it that way.

Great list. We've read a lot of those, but there are some new ones to look up. I think my three little ones would add Robert McCloskey - One Morning in Maine, Make Way for Ducklings, Blueberries for Sal.

What a great idea. Our children are our first ministry, but it's nice to know we can encourage someone else.
