Glad to hear you had such a fruitful conference and came back inspired! And how wonderful that you opened your home to an exchanged student. She looks very happy--and I'm sure you'll both learn a lot this year.
This book sounds fantastic--I bet fans of Percy Jackson will enjoy hearing the real tales. Count me in for the drawing!

How fun that you and Greg met up! It sounds like a fantastic trip and a great bonding experience for you and your grand kids. And congrats on your second place adult story! Lots of good things are happening in your neck of the woods.
I haven't read the Tapper Twins--but count me out as I'm overwhelmed with my TBR list right now. Enjoy the conference!

This sounds like a really fun book! I love the illustrations on the cover. And I'm so excited to win Wicked Bugs!!! We are really going to enjoy that one. Congrats on your story acceptance! Please let us know when it comes out.
Please count me out of the drawing since I just won, but I will look for this one at the library. Enjoy your road trip!

This sounds like a different twist on the typical bullying book. And with the prevalence of peanut allergies very realistic. Please give this to someone else as I have a lot of catching up to do on my TBR list. I love the quote from Robert Frost. Enjoy your conferences and your traveling this summer--Colorado sounds nice!

This sounds like something that a lot of kids this age can relate to. We have gone against the tide and not given our kids cell phones, even though it seems every teen and preteen has one. Too bad about the voice though! Count me out of this one as I'm drowning in my TBR list.

This sounds like a book that many middle graders could relate to. Middle school is such a hard time! It's a beautiful cover, and I love that it is set in a small town. Please count me out as I've won a lot lately though. And thanks for the great links, the Augusta Scattergood one sounds particularly interesting!

I will definitely be checking out the eliminating thought verb post. That's something I need to work on. Romeo and Juliet is actually my least favorite of Shakespeare's plays, but this does sound like an interesting take on it. I don't normally like novels-in-verse unless they're done really well. Please count me out, since I won recently, but I may check this one out from my library.
