I get this, I really do! I live in a third world country, but it doesn't feel that way. My days start off rough when I get little sleep from my baby and 2 year-old waking pre-6a.m. It feels hard when I can't find time to take clothes off the line or when my husband's not home to help me shower and bed the babies. You're right about where to find strength though. If I didn't have Christ, I don't know where I'd ever find the energy or hope to enjoy the every day. Thanks for sharing, Marissa.

Candi, this sounds great! I love coconut lime scented bath products too. I haven't used a sugar scrub in ages since my current home only has a shower (and I long for a bathtub!) and it's not as relaxing to sit in the shower and scrub. Pinning this recipe. Thank you for sharing.

Anna, I never wanted kids. All through high school and even college I told ppl I didn't like small children. Never ever imagined I'd be where I am now, living in the tropics with a great man and 2 tiny ones 2 and under. My mom life is spectacular, and much much better than I'd have ever planned for myself. Praise God that he brought me here, taught me to be selfless and patient (oh so patient!) and constantly teaches me new things through them, just like you said. Thanks for sharing about your life journey. Hope you learn loads of new & beautiful things from your children this week.

Chelsea, this is so true and hits home for tons of us women. Getting pregnant is a completely emotional experience and always happens in God's time, whether it's what we'd hoped or not. I'm beyond thrilled that you have a gorgeous little one. Just from reading your blog I can tell that you're a dedicated mama and sure to raise a wonderful child. Pinning.

Looks like a great recipe to me. I've made body butters, whipped butters, and eye cream but never lip balm. Thank you for sharing your recipe. Generally, coconut butter is labeled coconut oil, right? It's just solid at room temperature.

I love green smoothies. I'll have to check out your challenge because my toddler and I have one every single day. Maybe I should commit to replacing a meal rather than a snack. Hmm. Sounds good to me.

I loved Family Matters and Full House. I'd definitely add Fresh Prince to my list!

Great post. My husband and I work with the youth at our church and are pretty big fans of the book series "Every Young Man/Woman's Battle" that talks a lot about sexuality in a way that Christians just sometimes poo poo or avoid these days.

What an inspirational post! My small group just finished a series on giving, and in my own life I've definitely seen that when I give, blessings just seem to follow. Of course, we have to be sure we're not giving out of a heart that's expectant to receive in return, but sharing what we have with others is paramount to understand Jesus' teaching. Thanks for sharing.
