Oddly enough, I have no problem with subways. Unless, of course, the car breaks down while it's underground and I'm stuck there indefinitely, in which case, time for some serious hyperventilating. I think it has more to do with duration of time spent in that crowd, as well as an inability to get away from it. I generally like cities, but I try to power through, say, Times Square because AAAUGH. The money factor is probably the biggest thing, though, if it were drivable, I'd probably try it at least once (with intervals of getting the heck out to read or find somewhere with lots of air.

Avalon (Resistance, but with knights! And the expansion roles) is probably my favorite, though I'm also a big Werewolf fan. You mean Secret Hitler? I'm excited about that (though not loving the name). Good Cop, Bad Cop, Sabateur, murder mysteries...all so much fun! Now I have to look into Are You the Traitor.

It's funny, because IRL I am a terrible liar, and I generally don't do it (outside of telling my dentist how often I floss), but it is soooo much fun in the game. That, and it is very satisfying to build trust during a quick game...and then destroy it!

Argh that's the one Con I think I'd be willing to brave the claustrophobia for, but I just can justify paying a trip out to Indiana when I can't think of anything else I'd do there.

On a more amusing note, when my friend didn't know what the "Gen" part was short for, we made some suggestions. Turns out it is not "GenitalsCon" or "GentrificationCon".
