I never hang out at bars...I've had trouble at a laundry mat doing my family's laundry (while 5 months pregnant with our 3rd child) and at a Sam's club. Makes me extra cautious/nervous when I'm out by myself.

I would call my marriage awesome. I also call my husband my best friend (he calls me his as well), my partner, my cheerleader, my everything. We've never tried to change each other, we accept and love each other as we are in this moment.

This is a fun article. I wished #9 was true though, in my experience there are a lot of people who don't respect the ring.

I agree that adults probably do not need to drink milk. Though they do need the calcium it contains and some adults benefit from healthy fats that are found in dairy. I think people drink it because it's the easiest source of calcium for them. There are many non-dairy foods that contain calcium and as a last resort you can take a supplement (I lean more towards the getting the vitamins and minerals you need from food sources, your body absorbs it better.) I don't like the taste of milk myself and only use it in cooking.

It's not too high in protein. It's due to adults no longer having the enzyme, lactase, needed to break down the protein lactose. As we get older the amounts of lactase in our bodies decrease. Some people keep lactase levels longer and have little to no problem digesting dairy. A theory is that it decreases because we don't drink milk as much as we did when we were infants (especially breastfed, lactose is in the milk of all mammals) and so our bodies see it as no longer needed.
Interesting thing about the ants, I'll have to try that out next summer when they attempt to invade the house. I really dislike the nasty little things.

I have to disagree with some of this. I think whether or not you become emotionally attached to animals and therefore have troubles slaughtering them is dependent on how you were raised. If you grew up in a farming/hunting family then most likely you were raised to view most animals as food sources (I was) not pets. They didn't get names, they didn't get petted, they got fed and took care of until the time came to kill and process them. It's common in rural communities for the man of the house to shoot and field dress the animal and the woman to do the skinning, cleaning and processing. People raised in urban and suburban areas have a tendency to have a disconnection when it comes to that plastic wrapped meat in the fridge and a steer out in the field. This doesn't have anything to do with biblical roles, but an error in educating children. I agree with the rest of your post.Brings to mind the disturbing trend of raising children gender neutral. Giving them neutral names, and letting them "pick" their gender as they grow. Society has gotten far from remembering that we are "fearfully and wonderfully made" and should embrace our differences as God intended.
