Michael - you make excellent points - I know this because I have been there. I have done this for years now and I am still know no where near what I need to. The one thing I have found is that I have to rely on the Holy Spirit a whole lot - I need his guidance and direction in my life on a daily basis. I have also found such great comfort in just talking and hanging with other Pastors - sometimes they pastor me and sometimes I pastor them - it is important to have guys who speak into your life and pastor you.

The process of Christian leadership has taught me that I need to make Christ happy and when I do there will be those who are happy and those who do not get it at all but I still need to be plugging away. Excellent thoughts Ron.

Excellent list Ron. I make sure I go over finances and how they plan to make decisions in their marriage. I have found these two areas to be areas that bring about stress and arguments.
