I'm looking forward to reading more! I've been blogging two months and even one month in I could tell that some people were only out to help themselves. I always try to be genuine and encourage others, and that includes fellow bloggers. I've connected with some great ones and am enjoying getting to know them more and am learning from them, too. We're all in it together, right? :)
Oh yes, and thanks for hosting!

Great advice! We still have flip phones and were very close to getting smart phones, but it has been a pain for weeks trying to figure out the actual costs. We've finally decided to just forget it -- we don't need them. We want them, but we don't need them! We don't have to have them just because everyone else does. So I definitely needed to read this today.

Um, yes. I have two girls and I feel the same way some days. My oldest is very strong-willed, which is great, except when it comes to listening to me about not attacking her one-year old sister. My quote around here is, "I feel like I'm taking crazy pills." (from the movie "Zoolander"). As for toys, if my toddler is mad that her little sister is playing with something, I try to have her pick out some things to give to her sister. That way she's choosing and feels like she's in charge. It helps some! Hope you hit your stride again!

Ha! I loved your, "No, NO!" I tend to do my "no's" in rapid fire: "NononononononoNO!" You get the picture. You've got your hands delightfully full. Those are the four things my toddler likes to do, too. She loves dry erase markers, too -- give those a try! Thanks for the laugh.

I'm going to have to check these out. Music is a big part of my life and I want to expose my kids to as much of it (at least the good stuff!) that I can. Popping by from the Mommy Needs A Time Out Thursday link up!

Too funny. He's just trying to hone his skills! I was playing tag with my daughter in the yard the other day and was yelling, "Dodge! Duck! Dive! Dodge!"
