I would spend the money on our new garden. We moved into our new home late last summer and the backyard is a blank canvas, literally. There was a "jungle" there, which took 7 hours to clear out and we found 3 rose bushes...ok, they actually attacked us! I could buy lots of soil to even out the backyard and create a veggie garden.

LOVE it! Anything I can help with, I'm happy to! I'm constantly educating people about how the experience my son with Autism has is different than an NT (like his twin sister!) has.

This is GREAT! As a fellow mom of Autism, I get a few of these types of emails. Recently, I got one from a teacher friend of mine who was venting at parents of one of the kids in her class "through" me. The parents don't see that there's anything "different" about their child, no matter how much she (and the teachers in grades before her) tell them. Why do parents ignore their childrens' needs? Their lack of understanding only affects their children...FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES! No pressure!
