awesomely great post - can't wait for the next one!! and yes, please be detailed and thorough.. I think logan wing lists themselves are common enough, but no one has really gone into much depth with regards to how they should be played and why certain list building decisions are made.

what about this?

Each prime + fex combo costs 315 points.

a Hive Tyrant with 2x devourers and 2 guards with lashwhip cost the same.

same firepower, comparable number of wounds (HT has 1 more but no regen unless you pay 20 more points), and arguably better in combat (except against some things like nobz and other multiwound stuff, but even then the fex with its crappy WS is not THAT effective)

and the tyrant brings psychic power support!
