what keeps me coming back to this blog, K, besides your timely cross posting on FB and email reminders, is the variety. if you only wrote about your kids, or only posted food items, it wouldn't be as dynamic. i love that you put all the interests (save the KLyPT stuff) here, mixed-up the way life itself is. keep up the great work, honey!

Well, rambutan was similar to the canned lychees I've had only firmer, with a big splash of Asian pear. I would love to try these fresh someday. I doubt I'll get these often, if ever, again. Also from the pantry, the end of one bag of risotto and the start of another. Used up the last of some radicchio, arugula, and yellow bell pepper in the salad. Plus I took a "before" photo for you...

what a great idea! now i'll HAVE TO do something with that handful of spiral noodles, eh? our pantry is a bit of a mess, no telling what delights it will offer up. i can tell you this, though, there is no way we're drinking all the tea in a month...and i'm super embarrassed to take a picture of it but for you, K, i will. though it has not resided long in the pantry, i am excited to try Rambutan, an Asian fruit that looks like a hairy strawberry!
