Well now I'm getting all teary at the library...my date scone is getting soggy.
Murphy is simply gorgeous and I'm so happy that he has a loving home and a garden to romp in, bones to chew, and a cat to win over. I really want another dog (I'm greedy that way) but my partner is not too enthused about the idea. I WILL WEAR HIM DOWN.

Oooooh....here's an idea! If you could write an introduction to any book at all, what would it be?
First one that popped into my head was The Handmaid's Tale - I have no idea why that was the first book to enter my mind.

I have an unabashed lust for Tom Hardy that knows no bounds - not even in my workplace environment, which luckily enough is mostly women. When I completed my undergrad this year, they decorated my desk and included a mock-signed photo of Tom Hardy on the seat of the chair! Plus they put shirtless Jeff Goldblum from Jurassic Park over my computer monitor and covered absolutely everything in photos of Doge. They get me. They really do.

Here to say I made these for dinner last night and they were everything Nicole said they would be! Delicious crusty, herb-y and spicy on the outside, beefy flavour on the inside. Also the gentleman who has the good fortune to be my live-in-partner was well impressed.
