Hahahha I love your story here! I can't help but laugh at some parts ; though I've only experienced my first snow 2 years ago, I can see the behavior on kids. Or even adults in general and it's quite funny :))

Great tips! I have some articles that discuss this same topic as you, but anyhow, surely the general idea is that travel can only be expensive if someone chooses it so. There's just so maaaany options out there for cheap and free travel.

Hmm, in Asia, there are places that will make you feel that you will be scammed left and right; and that there are places that are practically dirty etc--I think it happens anywhere. I have come to those kinds of places but still tried to ignore that ugly part and tried to look for something good because those ugly parts can't be helped since it's an impoverished country.

Anyhow, I didn't go to the experience you've went through and I understand that we all have our own preferences. I haven't been to Fes either so I wouldn't know what to say, but this just means that you've found for yourself what you want/enjoy and don't want/enjoy.
