I suppose there's not much point in commenting since it's so many months after the OP, but it makes me kinda sad that no one* posted any videos of the real Larry Lessig to show just why Josh Silver described him as a "rock star". So just in case anyone should wander by this post in the future, here are a couple of the many videos out there featuring Lessig and his considerable talent as a speaker.
