Wow, I think this must have been such a hard book to read. I don't see myself ever feeling sorry for the bully, but you make a strong case for hearing the other side. There are always two sides to every story. Not that you should push anyone to the point of suicide, but obviously there was a lot of misunderstanding going on. Excellent Review, Brandi!

At what point is it okay to say something and what can you say if someone is or I think someone is moving in on my significant other? I can't say that ever happened to me, maybe I was blissfully unaware. But I think you can say something without name calling and debasing someone. I'd just say, "Hey, this is my boyfriend/partner/husband/etc. I'd appreciate it if you took a few steps back and didn't act so familiar with him" That's my adult self. As a teenager- Hey he's mine! Back off! I just don't remember bullying being a problem when I was in school, but again, I might have been blissfully unaware. I AM aware of it now because I have two kids in school.

Everyone loves this series. Maybe a little more than you, at least the people I read on a regular basis. I have yet to start it, despite the fact that I have both books. Just got to make a little time.

Great review! I haven't seen a review of this anywhere, but I wondered how it was. I remember when on the WOW's were listing it. I think I might have to read this one. I can't believe it's a stand alone. Almost no one writes those! Really great review, it's the reason I want to read this.

Oh I was going to get this on Kindle since I've joined the masses, but the covers are so damn pretty I just have to have the books! But I can't wait to read them. I've seen the trailers and they are so beautiful. I thought she was a fairy changeling. Guess not. I can't wait to read this!!! I'll be back tomorrow! Fabulous review and great at not revealing anything!!

I haven't read my copy of Mara Dyer yet. I've been saving it. I loved Divergent, Daughter of Smoke and Bone and Passion!
I haven't read the others yet. I never read the Fever series so I have no idea who Barrons is. I've read that Ashes is a must read. I've got it on my list.
