Oh goodness you just made me cry! My husband looked at me and was very confused - thought I was watching Spain v Holland too and thought I'd got very emotional about that. Your letter to Kai is just such a perfect articulation of the way we all love our children so much and of the way we seek to capture their little awakenings, from wind on their faces to their babbling words. IT's just so special and it's so hard at the same time. I am so with you on the tiredness. It makes me so cross and I would give anything in the whole world not to be. You're right about colours too. I had Eliza creating chaos with paint very early on.
