This is my first question this season...sorry to be a bloggie late in the game..here goes..
When Monica made the statement,
“This is a beautiful place,” “A place known for very creative, talented people.”
did she say it
1) the moment she picked the ball,
2) the moment the spacebar revealed the winner's location and name,
3) the moment the bin was knocked over and an entry was pulled
4) the moment some research was done on the winner?
I ask this because at first I was discouraged. My town is alright as far as beauty and talent goes but, not enough to make a big deal about. Then I got thinking...if they did research on the location, they would find summer time pictures of my town and the summer art event we have. It's always in the paper. I've won the summer art event and have participated in it for the past 4 years. Hmmm...here's to hoping! Though, out of over 77 million entries, my chances are slim to none since I only entered a couple times at the beginning and a couple times at the end. Good luck to everyone anyway. Stay safe on the coast when you get there.

According to Gail Fenton's facebook page she just got back from vacation. I wonder if she will make a new vlog for us?!? She said," OMG did you see this!!!! I went on vacation and came back to this. The HGTV Dream Home already looks incredible. I am going to need to learn some new adjectives this year!!!!"

I totally know how you feel. On July 4, 2005 I lost my wedding ring. My little boy was pulling on my hand and my ring slipped off. It was dark outside and there were lots of people all around us looking at the fireworks display. I didn't notice that my ring was missing from my hand until we were far from the area where I thought I had lost it. My story is a sad one. I never found my ring. It was an artcarved 2 toned gold ring with RLF 15July2000 engraved on it. It was very heavy and always slipped off my finger when my hands got cold. One time, when I was in the frozen food section at Walmart, I launched it across the store. My husband bought me a replacement anniversary ring with 12 small diamonds. I never where it. It's just not the same.

Is the tile in the Rock-n-Roll bathroom made of stainless steel? I like the art work in the master bathroom way better than the art work in the powder room. I'd replace that art with some of my own. Hey, that would be cool! The next time HGTV decorates a house, they should have an art contest. Have an online vote for the best artwork, submitted by viewers, to be placed in the house. That would be so fun!

I think this is a very thoughtful feature. I have 2 dogs. My Jack Russel is small enough to fit in the kitchen sink. My chocolate lab is just too big and old to wash. I can only wash him during the summer...outside with the hose. I really like the videos this time around. Gail is really giving us the fine details.
