I personally didn't like the episode, though that opinion may be skewed because ranbo shad is worst pony.
The plot of the episode was that if someone follows orders from their superior (in this case to push harder) and accidentally endanger someone, even though we know from Sonic Rainboom that RD is more than capable of saving lives when her friends are in danger, that that person's dreams no longer matter and that Dash gets to follow HER dreams because she's the protagonist. The entire episode was kind of lacking IMO, and the whole deal with giving spitfire more speaking roles seemed to me like fan pandering, and they just as easily could have picked any other wonderbolt, or introduced a new one. But no, instead pick the one the fans obsess about the most so you can get some cheap approval.

I'm sure I'll be hated for this opinion but honestly this was my least favorite episode from season 3 thus far.
