I had hoped to take my teens to Color Me Mine to paint ceramics, but it didn't work out. :/ Hopefully sometime over winter break. Those snowmen paintings are cool. :)

Cute paper bags! We decorated treat bags last week, but I love the idea of using them as shape sorters. Very clever!

I'm thinking of getting Level 2 for my daughter, Hannah. Jack didn't enjoy this program, but he's not fond of doing art to begin with. But Hannah really enjoyed it and did well with it. I'm impressed with her owl.

There's actually 5 levels! The level 5 pictures are amazing (and a little intimidating, lol). Nice dragon. Mine looked like it was wearing striped pajamas, lol.

I love this post. We actually started out in the foster care route, for precisely that reason. Our path took a different turn along the way, and we ended up in China, twice, but I whole-heartedly encourage foster adoption to people who are asking questions. I would love to foster. We have too many kids for our state rules right now, but someday.
