It looks like you have a slightly different version than I had been hacking. I'll try to find out which one had been that, retroactively. There won't have to be any success, though.

Hm, deleting of the original user isn't needed. I had been playing with it so long to get working this way. Does it do nothing for you or perhaps crash the game entirely?

Just edit the file: %INSTALL_PATH%\Data\seceneData.ini (where %INSTALL_PATH% is usually something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Games\Dark Parables 2 The Exiled Prince Collectors Edition). Find the section [m1] and replace the line starting with OnUnload with:
OnUnload=@(hardMode:s0)$i00FrogCrown,^snd:General/env_collectInventory.ogg,reset:allData,extraContent:1,hardMode:1,^saveGame<>
Then create a new user, skip intro & Black forest, Germany. You should have the crown and be in the hard mode now. Go to the main menu and the bonus chapter will be unlocked.
