I saw this pop up on NetGalley recently and wasn't quite sure about it so I decided to pass. (I am outrageously picky when it comes to the arcs I request.) Seems odd that there was so much attention given to the MC's previous crush when more time could have been given to the new relationship. The setting sounds awesome!

Meh. When a MC is supposed to be swoony and instead comes off creepy... something has gone terribly wrong. It sounds like Charlottte was an enjoyable character with a good head on her shoulders, but with Tate... just no. Hope your next read is much better, Jess!

Contemporary is my genre and Kenneally is so good at it. I love seeing such a great review for this one. I don't think I've read anything by her since Breathe Annie Breathe (I'm so behind) so I'm really excited to pick this one up. Great review, Jess!

Such great picks! I'm so with you on Damaged Like Us! If only Santa could bring it early. :) I've ever been to Jamba Juice. There's only one here and it's waaay on the other side of the city and not exactly convenient. Guess I'm missing out!

Great post, Jess! I haven't yet posted my 2016 favorites but it's not too hard to figure out. I read some real stand-outs this year. Loved seeing your favorites. I've never heard of Night Fox but I sure love that quote. I'll definitely have to check that one out. My favorite book of the year (seriously, just one? LOL) will probably be Some Kind of Perfect. Getting to see all the characters, how far they've come over the years,a ll the changes in their lives, it was just so emotional. And how nice of you to do a giveaway!

I loved The 5th Wave but have yet to read The Infinite Sea. I heard so many mixed reviews and I got skittish about it. Many people saying nothing happened in the second book. But I really do want to continue on with the trilogy so I need to pick it up soon.

Great seeing your list, Brandi! I so agree with ACOTAR - loved it! And I adore anything by Cora Carmack. Her books are so much fun, but still manage to (usually( cover some serious issues.
