My favourite foundations are Max Factor, Ageless Elixir or Facefinity or the Liquid Illusion. I am about to try out the Bourjois Healthy Mix and the Serum version though.
Concealer I love the Collection one in the post, NYX Gotcha Covered is a good one and waterproof & I also like the Bourjois one.
Power I've discovered the MUA loose one is fantastic and works really well under my eyes when applied with a sponge. Also Collection pressed which is what I've used for years before finding the MUA one.
I adore my Naked one palette and have just bought the Heat one for my daughter for Xmas, but I'd secretly like that one myself but can't justify the spend when I literally have enough eyeshadows to last me till I die. I adore the Maybelline tattoos they are amazing.
Fave mascara has been for years and years the L'Oreal Telescopic, Gold or Carbon Black versions.
I have a few fave lippies, I love the Bourjois rouge edition velvets and another really long lasting one, which was a surprise was the MUA matte in Mystic Masala. Also love the Collection lipsticks and Max Factor ones.

What a great blog post. My personal favourites are the Una Brennan Super Facialist Vit c cleansing oil too, it's one that I always have on my shelf and is perfect for removing make up. I then like to either use The Body Shops Camomille cleansing butter, beautiful, light and feels amazing, also removes make up like a dream, or for a second or morning cleanse I like the L'Oreal fine flowers cleansing milk. The hydrating toner is also in my stash.
Pixi Glow tonic is my acid tone of choice, I have also in the past bought the Nip Fab glycolic pads.
Favourite sheet masks are the Garnier ones or the Soap & Glory hydrogel, currently my favourite. My favourite slightly higher end mask is the Sanctuary Thermal Rose clay transforming mask.
I adore facial oils as I'm very dry and de-hydrated and love the Clarins Blue Orchid. Currently using the Una Brennan Rose oil which is lovely and I also like the Vichy Magistral oil, that's lovely.
Now I'm off to read the make up version!

Mineral oil is cheap ingredient and is a by product of the petrol/oil industry. There are many more beautiful oils that will do a much better job than MO, such as almond oil or jojoba oil etc.
Also another reason is that MO creates a barrier, think Vaseline, and that in turn will prevent any products that you layer on top of something containing MO, from penetrating through it.
At the same time Caroline says that if you use MO and it works for you, in Caroline's words "Crack on!" I personally choose not to use it.

I'm so glad you're doing better now and are thinking of getting an epi-pen. I think my best mate should do the same as she has a myriad of allergies too. So sorry your trip was spoiled by this, though it appears you managed to do plenty of damage before hand!! Am patiently waiting for said blog posts and U tube vids, you've been missed can ya tell?!!

I have a bottle of this tucked into my drawer just waiting for me to finish my Soap & Glory, both bought on your recommendation. I do have dry skin so I'm hoping this will be a winner for me, but I am totally with you on the lack of ingredients thing. I quite fancied trying some of their other products but I cannot find their inci lists so they can swivel for my money! It's just so annoying and will make me close a web page faster than I can eat a bar of chocolate! I'm going away this weekend and it's coming with me as I'm almost finished the other one & I cannot wait to try it out.

I loved 'Into the darkest corner', great read. I'm currently reading Eeny Meeny by M.J. Arlidge.

I'm currently using Sanctuary Spa facial oils which I love but I'm very keen to give some of Una Brennan's products a whirl, including the oil cleanser. My absolute favourites right now (& have been for several months), are S.Spa's day and night creams, luxurious but not heavy with the most divine smell and my skin really has never looked better.
