That bride sounds like a complete brat!! Completely rude and ungrateful. Some people don't have the money to give expensive wedding gifts and anyway, since when did weddings become about money? Whilst I appreciate that weddings can be really expensive to put on, they're often expensive to attend as well, with guests having to pay for accommodation, wedding attire, presents, drinks on the day etc etc. If people are getting married they should appreciate this and not demand to see receipts! Outrageous. To all those lovely people making gifts and hampers - keep on giving such lovely thoughtful gifts and don't think for a moment you should change your approach! I love getting homemade gifts :) xx
