Oh, awesome! I didn't realize there were short stories; I'll definitely have to investigate! Darkest Mercy is going to one of this year's "freebies" for which my "read from your bookshelves, not the library" rule gets to be ignored, so I'd love to win a copy! :)

I had the opposite response to these that you did; I liked A Northern Light well enough, but Revolution blew me away. I'll add another voice to the chorus in favor of her adult books as well, they are pretty romancy and a little fluffy (if a 700-page book can be fluffy), but they're also crazy-absorbing page turners, too.

And I've only ever flown somewhere for the holidays once in my life, and it's not an experience I'm particularly eager to repeat.

I really, really, really want to read this series, and this review is just making things worse! :) Fiddler's Gun is definitely near the top of my Christmas wishlist this year.
