HAHAHAHA. I've never had to do passport photos for a baby, but this was hilarious. I know how stressed out I was just taking the one month and two month photos (and we did that at home). So I can only imagine how you must have felt.

My son was horrible at taking photos until about age 5. We did his first passport photo at age 4. I was a wreck taking him to the photo place, and then he surprised me with the sweetest smile. Of course, that passport already expired.

Oh man. I totally feel your pain. My daughter is super picky, and we used to have that vicious cycle too. Although I can't say I ever had to hose her off. (But I TOTALLY would have done that in the same situation!) She's 11. She still doesn't eat much variety in the way of fiber, so she eats the same things daily. (I buy a lot of apples and carrots.) I would have LOVED this when my kids were younger. I'm with you--the higher the parental prep = the lower the chance I'll do anything at all.
