Great, funny post, and so true! We just got to the place after 2 1/2 years where our son sleeps through the night, so what do we do? Decide having another one in a few months is a good idea. Not that I'm not excited to meet my little girl, but I am starting to wonder more and more what in the world was I thinking! Hopefully she will be a better sleeper than the first, he literally just about did me in!

I so want to make these. We have milk allergies in our family. I can substitute goat's milk with lemon juice for the buttermilk, but I'm not sure about the butter. We use Smart Balance, but it isn't as firm as chilled butter. Do you think it would work?

Nice! I love rubber cement. I'm sure the smell of it is toxic, but it always makes me feel nostalgic. I imagine your mother didn't buy it as it ruins any fabric or carpeting it gets spilled on. But maybe you weren't as careless and accident prone as I was as a child and that had nothing to do with it...
