Great post and a very happy blog anniversary to you! I have loved your site since I came across it during Christmas past.

I did not know all this about painting with chalk. I have always taken the shortest way out! I have a few bottles I just purchased and I am kind of bummed out now that I opened them already for a few projects at hand. I have a few cans of regular paint that I could have used from trying your recipe. Oh well, now I know. I have done only smaller projects so far and used sanding to get the old antique look. And often wonder why paint it all pretty then go back and sand. Love your technique of not "doing a good job". Do you know how to add color to white paint? I mean, if I wanted to try your recipe but only had white paint at home. Anyway, Thanks for sharing with us at the Home Matters Linky party. We hope you join us again.

Wow..what a creative and inexpensive list of date with the hubs. I am totally digging #7 and will have to look more into ti. Sounds like so much fun to cuddle up in comfi pillows and blankets and enjoy a good movie. We have done the berry picking and love it - in fact, we love going picking any fruit!
