What a fun post, Catarina. I have always admired Richard Branson's approach to many things. I think he's spot on regarding taking risks. If we're not willing to risk making mistakes it says we aren't willing the learn and improve. :-)
Many times the basics can get lost because we make it more complicated then it needs to be. We do seem to overthink things. If those words were close at hand and visible, we'd be reminded to keeping it simple and real.
I do enjoy learning about how music played a part in Coppola's movie successes. Along with other classical composers, I have been a fan of Wagner's. I can also see using a score without deep consideration could confuse and enrage a person instead of the reaction one hoped to achieve.
Based on my past experience I found it important To schedule think time. If I didn't other stuff becomes more important and that time gets pushed aside. To avoid that I would make it a top priority on my calendar marked in red and urgent so staff knew I wasn't available. I found it was crucial in my attaining the measure of success that I was able to achieve.
I would say it's possible if the right leadership were in place. That may seem simple, but it isn't, especially in today's world. As it exists today, I am seriously worried for us all.
I've done a ton of presentations in my time. Knowing what to use and any images to convey a message that fits 80% of the audience is challenging. It can be done, but it takes time a much thought.
It's nice to hear this. We tend to focus on what's still lacking as apposed to what's been accomplished. instead should work too recognize had been accomplished and what still needs to be achieved.
Very well presented. Learning that you can't do it all is very hard to learn. If and when that lesson is learned, it will begin process of growth in creating a successful business. 👍🏻😊
I'm very fortunate to live near a few store who practice offering fair trade products. The products are a bit more expensive but the quality is outstanding, especially in food stuffs. I find using them in recipes rewarding in two ways; using them and the outstanding taste they impart.
In today's political environment this really hit home. There is a segment of our population that will believe anything DT says. It wierd to know that for some lies become truth and truth becomes lies. What can you do with that. Sigh!
