Looks like you're making some pretty great progress!

I'm one of the .0001% of the YA-reading community who hasn't read John Green yet, but I've obviously heard fabulous things about TFIOS. I hope it lives up to your expectations!

Happy reading. :)

Or, not the first realistic fiction I've ever read, but the first non-school-pushed realistic fiction that really grabbed me, shook me up, and then somehow hugged me back together, all before the last page.

YES YES YES! You put that so perfectly! ♥

And no, thanking her is not too much. She totally deserves it. And that just made me smile!

I love Sarah Dessen SO MUCH, which you already know. And I adore this post, which you already know. But I needed to say them again. Just because. :)

HOORAY FOR AMY & ROGER! I was super late to that club, too, only having read it a few months ago. But it totally lived up to my expectations. I can't wait to see what you think!

I just totally binge-read ALL your Shatter Me series reviews. No real reason, I guess? I was on your blog and they popped up and I just thought "OH I NEED TO READ THESE!" Because I want everyone to love this series, I guess, and I always enjoy reading people's thoughts on it. :)

Your reviews crack me up, by the way. Almost as much as Kenji. (♥ ♥ ♥!)

And YES! I agree with pretty much everything you said in all of them. I absolutely loved watching Juliette's progression as a character through all the books, as well as everyone else's. I love that you picked up on how Adam wasn't perfect from Book 1. Agreed that the plot was a little thin toward the end, but I can forgive that. It was never my main focus, anyway. Plus, there's really no way we could ever get ALL THE ANSWERS without a massive, random infodump. So. Yeah. Whatever. I'm in love with all these books, and Tahereh Mafi's writing owns my soul.

Your reviews rocked my socks. :)

One word/book: Fangirl. Thanks for novelizing my life. (Minus the cute boy who gets everything. But I do wish I had one of those, so, whatever.)

THIS. Haha.

I had Marchetta, Bardugo, and Rowell on my list, too! And so many of these authors are so stupendously marvelous! Tahereh Mafi, I'm looking at you! And Stephanie Perkins, Kristin Cashore. THEY ARE SO WONDERFUL.

I used to watch a CRAZY huge amount of television. Probably about the same amount you listed, LOL. I was homeschooled and lived in the middle of the country, so I had lots of free time to read books and stream all kinds of shows. Then, during/after my first year of college, I started giving them up one by one. It helped that several of them started sucking massively, haha.

My thing is that I don't really like watching television shows as they air, anyway. I like to pick shows that are already over or get super behind so I can binge-watch lots and lots of episodes at once. Like I did with Castle. I abandoned that show around my sophomore year of college, only to pick it up and binge 2 seasons in 3 days this past October. And it was MARVELOUS. But I haven't caught up since. I probably will sometime around the season's end, LOL.

In short, I have a really weird relationship with television. I watch tons of shows but practically none at the same time. Right now, the only shows I watch in "real time" are Hart of Dixie and Doctor Who. But DW doesn't even really count right now because of BBC's crazed way of scheduling things. But like you, I will never abandon it. Because HELLO, it's Doctor Who.

P.S. I miss Ten, too. Never ever will I not miss Ten. <3

I went with Bloglovin'! I really like them. I find it more straightforward and user-friendly than Feedly. The only drawback is that if you have an image with a transparent background, they default to having a black background behind pictures. So they look a little funky. That's really the only thing I'm not happy about, though!

Then I highly recommend it. :D
