This is definitely a lovely quote. I didn't receive any books over the holidays unfortunately. It's more than fine with me since I have enough to read as it is!

I enjoyed reading your list because so much of it was stuff I hadn't thought of adding to my own list.

I'm a bit judgemental over book reviews - BUT only when the person doesn't offer their opinion of the book and summarises the plot instead. I hate that too much to let it go!

As for crap for gaming, that's a bit harsh. One of my sisters hates to play jRPGs because of all the reading involved. It's funny cause she's a former book blogger and loves to read books. I think some people just have different gaming preferences and want all action and no reading. Which is a shame because jRPGs are awesome!

Great list :) I agree, bookish events are a major pro about book blogging! I hadn't paid any attention to them prior to becoming a book blogger but now I jump to meet/see authors whenever they're in London!

It's sad when reading becomes a chore. I feel like it happens more so with review requests than anything else though unfortunately!

Great list of resolutions! I've always considered vlogging but never really tried it. It just seems so daunting, plus I'm so shy!

For #5 I don't have separate social media accounts for my blog. I feel like it's easier to just maintain the one, plus it makes you seem more human and less self promo when you have social media accounts with personal bits!

Thanks for stopping by at my blog. Good luck with your resolutions and happy new year!

I have Dropbox but I only use it for files that I need temporarily. For images I tend to use imageshack or photobucket. Otherwise I save everything to an external hard drive to make sure it doesn't all get lost.

For a free image program I've always used pixlr. It has all of the popular features from photoshop (including some of the more advanced features) as well as the ability to save directly to your computer or straight to photobucket if you're on a computer other than your own. :)
