If you are indeed a fan of Ron Paul you might ask yourself which of the party leaders has talked to and can be considered a friend of Ron Paul. UKIP is not authoritarian in any shape or form.

Labour blame the bankers, UKIP blame the immigrants. Both UKIP and the Labour Party pitch to those who are hard up and yet to feel the benefits of economic growth

UKIP do not and have never blamed the immigrants. Farage himself has said that if he were Romanian that he would be migrating here. UKIP blame both Labour and Tory governments over the past 40 years for the predicament we find ourselves in.

Thin skinned? You have to be joking! The amount of mud raking the media have been doing on UKIP recently just about takes the biscuit. If Cameron hadn't persuaded me to switch to UKIP two years ago I would certainly have switched over the past couple of months. The Tories must be absolutely terrified to try such a desperate ploy. Why did we not hear about any of the miscreants in this list:

Could it be because they all represent establishment parties?

If you never listen to what he is saying how can you reach the conclusion that you can't respect him? I listen to what Cameron says and have drawn my conclusions on that basis.

Are you suggesting that should UKIP be voted in with an overall majority that it's leader wouldn't take us out of the EU? In that situation the people will have spoken loudly and a referendum would be unnecessary. As we have to accept that a UKIP majority in 2015 is unlikely in the extreme it would not be in UKIP's interest to oppose an in/out referendum.

No one is suggesting that the equal marriage legislation was unlawful, but that doesn't make it right.

The UKIP were against Gay Marriage and nothing will change the fact that in the opinion of many in UKIP it was wrong. However, from today on we are faced with a different question, i.e. should UKIP propose nullification of gay marriages? In my view that would be extremely unfair on those couples who have gone ahead with their ceremony.

Because I have a “dumb” gas and electricity meter, I can’t do that with energy because I have no idea how much energy I use – I am kept in the dark

That's strange, My gas meter has an analogue read out and all I have to do to find out how much energy I've used is to take that figure and subtract my last reading. The same applies to electric meter.

Smart meters are intended to benefit the supplier rather than the consumer and will send them information enabling them to profile my usage on a hourly basis. I don't think I'm paranoid, but I find it unlikely that there is no element of control such that the supplier may at any time restrict my consumption. Such may well be necessary due to power shortages brought about by EU green crap!

If expats receive their pension in Spain then they will be paying Spanish taxes. Also they will be paying local taxes for local services such as refuse collection and policing. If they have any sense at all they will also hold medical insurance.
