When I was in Australia i spent a month studying these little guys. ADORABLE. It never occurred to me until I got there that they might bite, but the adults are pretty fierce. (The babies were mostly just confused.)

I saw an online dating profile where a guy said he is good at getting things to work, so he should have his own survival show, and allhe really needs is electricity, food, and water. And I'm like

Um

That's not how survivalism works

MY DAD JUST DISCOVERED KALE. To be fair, it was my mom's doing, though.

I remember lots of stuff about how a good Christian girl shouldn't date until she was ready to get married. I probably wouldn't have dated in high school anyway (because I was hella awkward), but that didn't help. My parents, on the other hand, probably would have been fine with me dating. I don't think they really realized how conservative the stuff they were handing me really was.

Also, there was a column about how Star Wars' philosophy is slightly Buddhist, so consume with care.

WHIT!

Fun fact, the Focus on the Family magazine article about how Harry Potter is evil gave me a panic attack as a child. (My parents had no concerns about what I read, though. Bless them for that.)
