The escape provides the safety that leads to sanity :) Not sure how people who don't read stay sane ;)

I am drenched right now after my runs...I think I could literally wring myself out...Southern humidity is the devil!! Like you, I've found I'm a stronger person than I was when I first started this journey in January. And the toughest, roughest, most painful workouts are the best...love that feeling!

I have The Birth House on my Nook and also got it on sale. My next book up for review is The Virgin Cure by McKay...I was so hoping these were going to be good :(
The last book I loved was Flight Behavior by Barbara Kingsolver, and the last book I really absolutely hated was Kiss the Dead by Laurell K. Hamilton. I slightly liked He's Gone by Deb Caletti. Several other bloggers compared He's Gone to Gone Girl, which is why I wanted to read it. Not even close in my book :p

I hope to goodness you're boat is not as upset as Lindsey Lohan!! :P You'll get there; it's definitely hard to re-organize after vacation.

There are very few places for me to run on flat land as well, so I have to tackle these bad boys whether I like it or not. These tips are very helpful!! I'm getting ready to begin training for my first 1/2 and need to get a concrete plan in place in the next couple of months; hill training will definitely be a part of that plan.

I haven't read these yet but will have to before I see the movie. I wasn't really interested in the movie until you said Jonathan Rhys Myers :/ Now, I'll have to go :P

I haven't read these yet, but have been curious. I think I'll save them for brainless beach fun reading :) Thanks for the honest and fun review

Plagiarism of any kind really ticks me off...just laziness...pure laziness. Do you regularly check somewhere to see if you've been plagiarized or do you just run across it?

I've not heard of The Americans until now, but I can't wait!! Homeland is raw, but not racy like some of the other Showtime/HBO stuff. The only thing you have to get used to really is the liberal usage of the F word. But it's used in appropriate context (if there is one)...I guess if I spent my life 24/7 worrying about terrorists and imminent threats on U.S. soil, I might use it myself.

I've got two book reviews to post this week and then MUST catch up with War and Peace! I will not get left behind this time ;)

You MUST watch Homeland!! I just recently caught up with both seasons of that. GREAT show!
