Seriously, that's where I get all of my information on body building. The two channels I like the most are TwinMuscleWorkOut and LowBudgetLeanMuscle.

Hopefully that starts to change again. I love Michelle Obama, because it seems to be her personal mission to encourage exercise and healthy eating in youth.
I'm huge, but I'm less huge than I was this time last year, by about nearly 40lbs (since July, more than half of that since November). I work out five days a week, at least-and that's besides usual housework.

Edit: Every sunny day-even if it's cold-my kids play in the backyard for HOURS at a time.

It can be, depending on a number of factors, including experience, size, and how much you are taking on.

It is good to push yourself but not good to take on more then you can handle, it can lead to injury.
But exersise is a good thing, it is important to work your way up, start with light exercise and as you get used to it make your workouts more difficult.

partners encourage each other to get out and exercise. they add incentive and companionship so neither one can use an excuse for not exercising. if they write a contract, they promise to exercise a certain amount of time for a certain number of days, like an hour every other day. it's just another way to help a person get up and get moving.

If I were going to work out 3 days a week I would do a total body workout M-W-F.

You will get better results with a split workout Chest, Abs Tricepts M-F and Back, Legs, Bicepts T-Th.

Personaly I like to throw in some cardio on Wed and Sat.
I find that if I go almost every day it becomes a routine and i'm less likly to blow it off.

also it is important to vary your routine every 6-8 weeks.
If you fall into a rut it is harder to shock the muscles.

Cardio workouts are those that target the heart... (hence=cardio) Any exercise that increases the speed of your heart. Running, jumping rope (fast), dancing! etc. Cardio workouts are excellent if you wish to burn fat. And naturally it a great way to increase heart health, lower cholesterol levels, and have clearer skin, shinier hair.
