Natalie, I laughed when I read this post. I continue to have (and actually still use) the same "faulty system" of recipes from ripped out magazine pages. I literally have thousands dating back about 10 years! I love your idea of taking some time to load them into my Pinterest boards- brilliant idea that I must do soon!

I LOVE Aldi and am not afraid to admit it! Aldi has long offered lots of certified organic items and just recently added a full gluten free line of food items called Live G-free.

I bet this salad would be great the next day (except for the avocados) with the dressing soaking into the sweet potatoes, beets and grain, and softening the kale. And oh how good you will feel after eating this!

I agree, there have been a couple of occasions where friends have made something off of my blog for a get-together. Such a huge compliment (and it makes me feel good to know that someone out there is reading my blog!!)

I also received the Lighten Up America! cookbook from Cooking Light. I was especially tickled to see a lightened version of St. Louis fav dessert: gooey butter cake. That might be something I tackle at some point.

Yep, lunch-maker-hater here too. Thankfully my 10-year old is a trooper and makes his own :) I actually have every one of these ingredients in my kitchen right now- I look forward to trying this unique and interesting dish.
