The "classic" view is actually ok by me. It does resemble the Gawker I know and love with a face lift.

But I've clicked there maybe twice today, because the comments were the whole reason I went to Gawker (usually 10000x more interesting/insightful than the stories).

I don't think the main page, in classic view, is too buggy. Its the commenting that's borked.

On a related note: I shined up my TV star and popped in over there. The most comments I saw on a given post was 2. That was on 2 pages in classic view.

If Denton wanted to clear out commenters, Mission Accomplished (gee, that sounds like a swell banner to hang off the front of the main page, no? Perhaps Nick could hold his next press conference in a flight suit...)
