God, I loved this article. Thank you, Toast, and Nicole, and Gretchen (and Kate, here!) for reminding me that I love words and linguistics and thinking about the universes of ideas to which we belong. (Also, for doing the interesting work on The Wake for me so that I don't have to add yet another thing I'll never actually get through to my reading list.)
I know this is kind of OT, but is there a post-Toast future where we're all on one big text chain/gchat watching movies together? I'd really like this. (Particularly if we could expand the definition of "watching movies" to include "talking about Miss Fisher and advocating for Season 4".) Thank you, love you guys.
