What an interesting question. In all the interviews I've done in the past three years, no body has ever asked that question. So, to your virginal question, and after shacking my head to get the synapse connected, my assumption is that after my first novel was published.

You may know that the book Ella so eloquently reviewed here is the 2nd edition. It was first published in Feb 2013 and I was encouraged with the many 4 & 5 star reviews it generated. I was also put on guard by the 2- 2 star criticisms, but I agreed with most of the criticisms posted by thoughtful, fair and balanced reviewers.

At that point, I was well into writing the sequel, INSIDE MOVES, which will be released in late October. In order to make that story work, some details in the original story need to change. (Posterity looks backwards!) That was an opportunity to address the issues raised by the critics. It also meant that my publisher would have to push back IM by more than a year and spend a bunch of money on the rewrite of the 2nd edition of THE TIPPING POINT: A WAINWRIGHT MYSTERY. After many long and heated discussions, we made the decision to make TTP 2 the best that we could produce and we did it!

At that point, April 30, 2015, TTP 2 was released for sale and that is when I could realistically call myself a writer.

Yes, it is! Of course, I'm just a bit prejudiced on that subject, but Ella picked up on all the nuances of the storyline and plot and reported them in her review professionally with enthusiasm. This is one of the more complete fair and balanced reviews that THE TIPPING POINT has enjoyed.. Three cheers for Ella!
