Thanks for this, it resonated with me big-time. I'm another Southern hemisphere dweller; I am a teacher and this is our long vacation time when all normal activity stops, and as a task-oriented, introverted "do-er", it is the hardest time of year for me. Much-needed words, Sarah.
I type them word for word. Maybe it's a project your kids can help with - work on their typing skills :)
I had the same situation last year, my stack was getting pretty high. What I've done for a while is type up the letter as soon as I receive it, and take a photo of the picture they drew. That way you still have a record of the content, without the letters taking up so much space.
Yes, my Compassion family is up to six already, five of whom I sponsored previously and have reconnected with, which is exciting. I am only teaching part-time at he moment but as God provides I plan to expand again (and continue writing and visiting the developing world).
Thanks for your support Jill, and I hope you enjoyed the book. I have no need to win a free copy, but for the record I am hoping to go to Brazil again and celebrate another birthday there :) David.
