Great post Ron! I completely agree with you on these 4 traits of a true friendship! I am lucky to say that I have several friends like exhibit these characteristics. One of these men has been my best friend for over 27 years not and of course like you one of those is my wife Holly. I know that you stated this in the unwavering support area, but I think a trust is great need and it could stand as its own point. Without trust, it is hard to really support them. Also, without trust you might not be willing to be corrected due to the fact that you could question their judgment because there isn’t a high level of trust. Just my thoughts!
