Sending lots of prayers for your whole family! My daughter also has mito & she is on the cocktail. People ask us all the time if we want further testing & our response has been the same...Nope, we are doing what we can do & praying for God's will. In the meantime we are trying to boost her immune system & enjoy the quirky & totally hilarious kid that she is.

When I first read your post I was actually blown away by how much your thoughts have been like mine. I was thinking that maybe you had read my mind somehow & then written them down. I must say that I love how you set the ground rules for comments! LOVE that!

This saddens me so much! I think it is wonderful that the boys' school takes them on such trips and saddened that someone in the community made such a heartless remark. Hopefully Dollar Tree takes action immediately!

Great post! Thanks for sharing. My daughter is only 13 but I already have people saying "only a few years until your daughter can drive?" I just smile & nod. They just DON'T get it. Always good to know that I'm not alone.

I just have to say that you are hilarious! I'd love to read both of these books. I must say that I am now wiping water of my computer monitor that burst out of my mouth after seeing the picture on the toilet....just wasn't expecting to see that as I was sitting here drinking.
