I tend to keep some books, not necessarily for re-reading as I don't do this very often but because I enjoyed a book and think that others will. I tend to lend these books to friends and my daughter then carries them off into the sunset for her friends. Books I don't want to keep go to charity shops although I have been known to leave some of the better ones in places (cafes etc.) for strangers to find and love.

I do love Romeo and Juliet even though it is all a little bit far-fetched. This retelling sounds really good! Thanks for sharing a great teaser about this book.

Oh my this sounds like such a sad read, it is good when a book makes you really feel something though.

All the celebrations can wear you out. I had to go for a snooze today :-( , anyway I hope you enjoy reading this one once you are less tired. :-)

I have fond memories of the library as a child. I think allowing a child to choose their own books is a really effective way of engaging them in reading. I used to take my two to the library weekly from an early age and they both belong to libraries now as adults!

Looks like a good read although I have to say I'm quite glad to say goodbye to the festivities now!
