I haven't read any of them yet. This is why I LOVE signing up for blogger emails and newsletters. I find hidden gems. Excellent books that I might never have heard of. It also contributes to a HUMUNGOUS TBR list, lol.

Both books look excellent--urban paranormal is a fave of mine:) With romance thrown in, I'm a happy camper:)))

Mrs. Hall simply stated that these girls should have common sense, self-respect, and dignity. As a woman, I feel sexy and empowered when I wear nice clothes or makeup or high heels or sexy lipstick. I DON'T feel sexy when I post a semi-nude photo of myself on a site that has one Billion registered users on it. Actually, I would feel pathetic and desperate. My sixteen year old daughter and I have discussed this ad nauseum and she agreed that these bedroom and bathroom selfies look ridiculous. If the young woman is that insecure, therapy is much more beneficial than posting her body all over FB. Therapy is nurturing whereas FB is cruel. Do you really want young girls to go through fire because YOU want to feel like a good feminist?? My suggestion---don't encourage defenseless young women to set themselves up for predators. YOU can post your bedroom photos online instead.

I love that you write in different genres although my favorite would definitely be the paranormal!! And fairy tales that kill people, cool!!

I've never read it but the summary describes a book that is positive and loving and hopeful. It also sounds very realistic. Great story:)

I would say that AT LEAST half of the books on the banned book list have been read or viewed by my kids and myself. I LOVE the four choices you have above!! All great authors:)
