Made me cry my eyes out :( Such a beautiful episode though..I thought it was filmed so beautifully but Beth then Tyrese back to back???? Ugh...these writers are killing me. I did love the way that Tyrese was sort of sent off and welcomed to the others that had passed. Except for the damned Governor...really wish they wouldn't have included him :(

Totally with you on horror! Horror doesn't mean violence and gore to me, it's all about the atmosphere and I can't get enough of it during October! Looking forward to what you read this month :)

What a wonderful post Amy!! I think you're spot on and you brought up stuff that I never even made the connection with. I think you're absolutely right...I think that all of this other social media that was born throughout the years stretched the interactions on blogs themselves, making them a little less personal. I've truly never thought of that and it makes so much sense. BUT having said that, I completely agree with your three reasons on why you keep blogging and they're basically the same reasons I'll keep blogging too :)

Ugh...Amy...Orange is the New Black is SO GOOD! Yes, the whole series can be a bit much at times and I think there are things in there that can trigger a lot of people...it touches on a LOT of touchy subjects. But I really loved it so much and did not want it to end. Stepping back, I can see it has it's issues, but overall, good series.

As for fallen idol syndrome, I've always had problems with that. No one is perfect. I think we've all done something in our lives that we've regretted at the time. At LEAST one thing. If you have any celebrity status at all, that one thing is going to get thrown into the spotlight. It doesn't mean you're a horrible person....it means that the thing you did got broadcast all over the world and people are going to judge you for it without looking at the bigger "you". And that's always really bothered me about the media. People. Make. Mistakes. You can have a heart of gold and still say something or do something that comes off as idiotic or is idiotic...we all have our moments. Alright...I'll stop soapboxing on your blog :p

You just put The Fosters on my DVR :) I'm excited to get into that show! I really want to start Switched at Birth too…I watched the first episode on Netflix and never continued but I really need to. I added it because of Shiri Appleby (sp?)…I loved Roswell so much when it was on that I wanted to watch everything that those characters did :p

Wow…that's completely unprofessional with the book! It's not like we're begging to get free copies of books but to say, sure we'd like you to review the book and then "haha just kidding, but please publicize for us anyway?" What the hell??? That's nuts!

Hemlock Grove. I LOVED the book and I've been so excited about the series to see what they were going to do. Totally agree with you on the first episode…I was really disappointed. I've watched the first four now and it's gotten much better but it still isn't as good as the book. But getting better….
