I bought a package of the Crayola washable markers (scented, even!) and they wash out great! I have told Kadence that I will not be washing this thing daily tho!!

There ya go - you could always eat off the top of it right? Just scoot the fabric to the side at dinner time, then go back to cutting...

Hi Cindy!
Great point, I remember when $9 a yard at a quilt shop was the most I paid. I know that the rising cost of cotton has affected it prices, and of course the ever rising cost of oil touches everything we consume.
People who don't sew have asked me if I save money sewing my daughters clothes (snort!)

It wasn't my original plan, but it turned out to be an easy and inexpensive alternative - the sheet was only 5 bucks, beats the fabric I was considering!

What a great way to pace yourself, when I moved my studio I refolded my whole stash and it was almost overwhelming - you don't grasp how much fabric you have until you've gone through a pack of comic book boards and you realize you haven't even made a dent!
