I love a lot about this - mostly that you're back in the States! I can't imagine what you'll do with quick access to all this overwhelming decorating stuff waiting for you in every big box craft store! As for tools, your use of the can opener for luster dust is genius! My butter knives (and sometimes teeth) will thank you!

These turkey minis are adorable (and who woulda thunk I'd ever call a turkey "adorable"?!) I'm with ya on the bribery of little children. These days, our challenging moments come when it's time to eat and get ready for school in the morning. Lately, I too am in the habit of making extra minis and placing them just beyond the kids' yogurt and other "healthy" breakfast options, for consumption immediately after my giant morning checklist is accomplished. Perhaps I'll go down in a sugary slide of diabetes and eating disorders - but for now - it works. (;

Very clever!!! And you're right, your combo cutter is so much cuter than those bird profile cutters out there for turkeys. Who wants their cookie to look like a live, infested, feather-shedding bird?!
