Great points. The key for me right now as a bi-vocational seminary student, if you will, is to prioritize and set up strong boundaries. Work well when I'm at work, study well when it's time to study.

Doing good on the memorization challenge. I'm sure people have mentioned this method already... but for me, I have it set up in Google calendar for a reminder to pop up once a day with the verse and text. It comes up on my phone. And it works for me! Thanks for your leadership, Ron.

I made a rule for myself a couple months ago: I won't look at my phone until 10:00 a.m. Texts, emails, and whatever else is on there can wait. Setting appropriate boundaries with technology drastically affects my relationship with God.

My favorite game on the iPad is World of Goo, hands down. It costs $10, so I was reluctant to buy it at first. But it is such a fun, challenging game. It constantly reinvents itself, it has a great soundtrack, and ... well, just get it!

I've been looking forward to this post all week. I appreciate that you keep the verses short... it helps me stay excited and interested in this project. Question: how do you select your verses?

Mark Roberts has a good post about a new Christmas album he likes. I listened to some samples on Itunes and Pandora, and they're not bad!
