I have to wonder how much you actually know about Lewis's theology, especially when it comes to hell...

And of course all of those are legitimate cancellations....oh wait, wasn't Humana fined for sending out misleading cancellations? And now we have Anthem being sued in California for tricking people out of grandfathered plans.

The fact that you don't see "Redskin" as a slur is disturbing. Native Americans says that it is offensive. But you know better than they do about what's offensive. Talk about taking white privilege to the extreme.

Again, the meaning of the cross changes with the different theories of atonement and your charge that she is mocking the cross only hold true for those who hold to the Penal Substitution theory.

What THEORY of atonement are we talking about here? If it's the Penal Substitution Theory, Eastern Orthodox also reject it, in fact it's essential to their orthodoxy. Are you going to lump them in with "Liberal Christians" because they flat out reject the theory of atonement you consider "truth?" Also, if you're talking about Protestantism, no theory of atonement is essential to orthodoxy, although some try to make it essential.... Nothing but a bunch of works righteousness in this post!

Just one poll. Heck, Faux Noise has him at 45% approval. Yes, Obama's numbers are dripping, but it's still better than Congress and there's little denying that the Republicans are losing the PR war on the shutdown.

Again, the government is shut down. That means the parks and monuments are CLOSED! And it seems to me that some people who claim to love the Constitution as much as they say they do, need a remedial course in the Constitution. There seems to be some confusion of how a bill becomes a law. That might actually shed some light on whose fault this really is.
