I read Behind the Beautiful this year and am going to add Family Matters to my TBR- it sounds wonderful.

I read We Need to Talk About Kevin last year and it was easily the most disturbing book I've ever read. I wasn't sure I could finish it. A very frightening topic- especially given the rise of gun violence in this country. Another school shooter just this week.

I haven't heard Christopher Morley's name in so long and, yes, charming is the perfect word! I loved that book and need to revisit it. I think he wrote another like it as well.

I thought Burial Rites was amazing. Such a powerful debut.
