I remember doing this poem in 8th grade and loving how blatantly about Dicks it was.

ETA: I JUST REMEMBERED !!! Our assignment was to write a reply, and my friend and I SMASHED (or at least our 8th grade selves thought so) the poor Dick with our cleverly worded refusal.
